Notice to Bidders
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions herein, will be received until 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Moore County Airport, 7825 Aviation Drive, Carthage, NC 28327 then opened and publicly read for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work connected with: Schedule I – North Taxilane and Schedule II – Taxilane Modifications as indicated in the plans and specifications prepared by Talbert, Bright, & Ellington, LLC, dated August 2026.
The project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required to satisfactorily complete the project. Items of work in Schedule I include pavement reconstruction and milling, grading, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, storm drainage, pavement markings, turf restoration, three 25-foot-wide tug-only access pavement widenings, removal of existing light poles, and installation of an L-858C taxiway ending marker. Schedule II includes widening the existing connecting taxilane to a finished width of 35 feet, including pavement removal and milling, subgrade and aggregate base preparation, asphalt paving, drainage-structure modifications, grading, pavement marking, and site restoration.
