Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated 30 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane.
It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
Today, nearly 2.3 million young people have enjoyed a free introductory flight through the Young Eagles program. These flights are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
We hosted an incredible Young Eagles event here at Moore County Airport on April 15th, 2023! Young Eagles is an amazing program that has been introducing and inspiring youth in the world of aviation for 30 years.
We’re proud to have been a part of this unforgettable experience and thank the EAA member volunteers who made it all possible.
Our thanks to the Sandhills Motoring Club for allowing us to host their Motors and Moore event as well.
Between the sweet cars and free plane rides, there was something for all ages!
