Pinehurst Number 2 Course, Hole number 5 Pinehurst/Southern Pines is home to some of the greatest golf in the world. The US Open Championship returned to the famed Pinehurst Number Two course in 2005. Additionally, Pine Needles hosted the Women's US Open Championship in 2007.
